About the University Hospital
The University Hospital employs around 4,100 professionals (including the Medical Faculty) in more than 20 institutes and 25 clinics. With around 1,100 beds, it is the largest hospital in Sachsen-Anhalt.
In recent years, the centres and university clinics of the Faculty of Medicine have increasingly focused on specialised patient care. Since 2004, a new building complex with 16 operating theatres and 4 intensive care units, used by 13 clinics, has been built on the main campus.
Your Workplace as a Medical Specialist (m/f/d)
An University Children's Hospital with Perinatal Centre Level 1, including follow-up care for premature babies. A sleep laboratory and event monitoring consultation are attached to the paediatric clinic.
Your Duties and Responsibilities as a Medical Specialist (m/f/d)
- Neuropaediatric care at the University Children's Hospital
- Specialist work for the neuropaediatric ambulance
- Treatment of epilepsies and neurological developmental disorders
- Active involvement in a competence network for neuropaediatrics and neurodegenerative diseases
Your Education and Qualification
- Specialist in paediatrics and adolescent medicine with German licence to practise
- Additional qualification in neuropaediatrics
- Several years of professional experience desirable
- German language skills: C1-Level
