For almost 30 years, our headhunters for public authorities have been supporting state and federal authorities, municipalities, fire brigades, police and rescue services, as well as social security and pension insurance associations in the recruitment of managers and specialists.

Our experienced headhunters for the public sector can draw on many years of experience, a large in-house candidate pool of highly qualified candidates as well as contacts in many different authorities. On this basis, we start a search assignment quickly and in a structured manner and can usually present you with suitable candidates for your vacancy at short notice.

Profiling for Targeted Recruitment

As a headhunting agency, we use a so-called target person profile for a structured start to the recruitment of, for example, heads of authorities, department heads or experts. We create this at the beginning of a search assignment to record exactly which minimum requirements the candidates must fulfil for their tasks in the authority. This profile serves our headhunters for the public sector as a basis for identifying suitable candidates.

Direct Search in Internal Candidate Pool and on Market

In the next step, we search our internal pool and the market for suitable candidates who meet this target profile. The candidates in our pool have already been screened by us and are generally interested in new vacancies. In addition, we activate our contacts in the market and search for completely new potential candidates. All target persons identified are then approached by our headhunters for public authorities in person on site, by telephone or digitally.

By using different ways to find suitable candidates and different platforms for direct contact, we can usually quickly provide you with at least three suitable candidates.

Headhunting Team for Effective and Fast Recruitment

This multifaceted and multi-layered approach to recruitment is possible because we work as a team and use the various channels in parallel in close consultation. This approach gives us good access to a professional field and enables us to recruit at a certain speed.

We achieve a structured working method through close consultation within the team and by appointing a fixed contact person for each mandate. This person has an overview of the recruitment process and keeps you, the client, informed of current developments.

Screening of Candidates and Selection Procedures

After recruiting suitable candidates, we review their documents in detail and compare them with the target profile. If all formal requirements are fulfilled, we ask the interested parties for a telephone interview, in which we clarify further questions, but also check whether the candidate's ideas and wishes match yours as an authority and employer.

Only if this is the case do we forward the documents to you for further personnel selection after approval by the candidate. Our headhunters for public authorities are also happy to support you in this process. Among other things, we carry out assessment centres or competence profiling adapted to the position for the final personnel decision.

Compliance with all Legal Requirements

As an experienced headhunting agency for public authorities, we pay close attention to compliance with all legal requirements throughout the entire recruitment and personnel selection process. We work in accordance with the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG), the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO), the German Social Code (SGB), and Article 33 of the German Basic Law (GG) and observe the Second Leadership Positions Act.

Throughout the entire process, we also ensure that you as the client have the decision-making power. As a headhunting agency, we primarily act in an advisory capacity and support you in filling the vacancy. However, we do not make the final decision.
